ASSOCIATION INSURANCE PROGRAMS : Since Hurricane Andrew devastated South Florida, associations across the State of Florida have experienced 200% to 500% increases in their insurance premiums. The FCAC is banding associations together from across the state to use the collective bargaining power to negotiate proprietary insurance programs for its members that will deliver savings for better coverage.The FCAC is working with an agency that will be devoted solely to this purpose and will cooperate with other insurance agencies to provide its members with access to the Florida Community Association Purchasing Group. receive a credit card or a line of credit in your name. By the time you learn of this problem, the scammer left you thousands of dollars in debt and may
have ruined your credit.
The FCAC is able to offer a program that will let you know on a daily or weekly basis if anyone applies
for credit in your name. Therefore, if someone is trying to steal your identity, you will be notified about it immediately.
Criminal Conduct at Your Condo or Homeowner’s Association?If you believe someone on your board is stealing money; taking checks without the proper authority; getting kickbacks from a vendor or committing a crime, what are you going to do?
The biggest problem an owner has is that there is no one to turn to. The association attorney communicates with the board, not the owner. Hiring an
attorney can cost thousands of dollars. Trying to cut through the red tape of the government can be quite difficult at times. The FCAC has developed a
